Hi everybody! It’s Tara here, and I hope you’re having a great afternoon ❤ For today’s post, I’m going to be sharing my TBR for the month of October.
Usually I’d also do a September wrap-up here, but I’m going to be honest and say there’s really not much to wrap up. I was in a huge reading slump, and always pressed for time or having something else to do instead of read. Didn’t get through too many books this September 😦
Fear not, I have plans for October! Without further ado, here is my TBR.
~ OCTOBER TBR ~
- With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo – I’ve just started this one and I’m in love with it! The cover is absolutely stunning 😍 For those who haven’t had the chance to read this one yet, it’s about a girl named Emoni, and how she copes with her life as a mother and a schoolgirl, whilst maintaining her love of cooking. It looks like it’s going to be a great read! I’m almost 100 pages in and absolutely loving it.
- Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman – this was on my TBR last month, and I’M SORRY. I want to get to it so badly!! It looks absolutely incredible, so I’m doing my best to ensure I get it read this month. Again, it’s about an angel and a demon, and how they have to team up to stop the end of the world. The TV show is AMAZING. Go watch it now 👍 Aziraphale and Crowley are just the perfect two leads, and I adore them with my whole heart. Plus, there’s load of Queen, sarcasm, and everything I’d want in a book.
- Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard – you know, I’ve been in the mood to reread this for a couple of weeks now. And yes, before you ask, I did waste HOURS of my life watching all seven seasons of the TV show… 😂 It’s a fun, girly read and I’m excited to get back into the world of PLL. For those who don’t know, this book follows the lives of four girls after their best friend and group leader mysteriously disappears. Whilst it’s definitely not the best book or series in the world, I still do enjoy it!
- Death in the Spotlight by Robin Stevens – another one that DEFINITELY needs a reread. I haven’t had the chance to get ahold of Top Marks for Murder yet but I want to remind myself of what happened in the last week, and of course fall in love with Daisy and Hazel again 😍 I LOVE their world and the characters, and I think Robin does such an incredible job of tying the murder mystery plots together. I’ve been reading this series for a few years now and every book just gets better and better. So excited!
And that’s all for today! Thank you so much for reading, I really hope you enjoyed ❤
Let me know in the comments what you’ve put on your TBR for October! Maybe we have some books in common – who knows?
Have an amazing Sunday and I’ll see you all soon!
